Three years since I felt comfortable with discomfort. Three years since I thrived on adventure and exploration. It's been three years since I really got to focus on learning a new language.

Being an exchange student you're thrust into emerging communities and I, luckily, got one that really wanted to share Korean culture with us. They were not afraid of 'being the tourist' with us and took us all around and let us dress up. Never be afraid to learn and discover as long as you are culturally sensitive.
One of the best things about being Seoul and at a major university was access to music. Seoul is the capital of pop culture in South Korean and there are concerts everywhere from the parks, clubs, streets, and even at the university gymnasium; where you snuck in for free and got on the floor seating! :D
